The City of Biloxi MS Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of a proposed indoor shooting range request for a conditional use zoning permit. The matter passed with just one nay vote and will be presented to city council in early March for final approval.

The 25,000 square foot facility will offer firearms training for those new to firearms, novice shooters buying their next firearms and interested in improving their skills and knowledge, as well as advanced shooting enthusiast who concealed carry daily, shoot in leagues and competitions, etc. In addition to classes and training, gun smith services will provide workmanship for firearm cleaning, maintenance and upgrades.
The final equity positions, generating construction design documents and engaging a general contractor are where our efforts turn next which will permit ground breaking later in 2020 with an early 2021 grand opening for this state of the art indoor shooting range facility.
Mr. Cavaco, the owner-sponsor spent many months talking with all of the shooting range equipment companies, shooting range HVAC designers and manufacturers, attended several workshops and range conferences before finding Range Development Services, LLC at which point the project began to take shape only after engagement.
